PRIMARY FUNCTION

• Coordinate with IT and lead Blackline enhancements providing expertise for system and functions. Lead system implementation projects from requirements gathering through deployment phases
• Provide the Functional needs to IT and support them in the process of Developing and testing.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of implemented systems
• Support Controllership and Finance function in general with those SAP issues that day to day appear and provide a solution before to open a ticket if it is possible.
• Support Blackline tool maintenance regarding new users and new information update.
• Support IT basis team about new roles requested or new employees onboarding regarding Finance roles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure and customize financial management tools such as BlackLine
• Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Make sure any enhancement in SAP is reflected in Blackline

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Blackline solution

• Provide support over the Blackline tool
• Update the information accordingly to support the current Blackline functionalities
• Support end user with those errors the system makes, testing the possible solution and also explaining what the solution will work into SAP environment.
• Conduct orientation/education sessions for end users when is possible
• Review the errors send by the users to provide a possible solution, before to open a ticket.
• Gathering business requirements and work with IT to provide enhancements and solution over the business needs.

2. Roles in Blackline

• Administration Role
• Understand the role of each request.
• Approved or reject those roles that base in the Role of the user can create SOD conflicts
• Explain to end users when the role is rejected, the reason why, and also involved the GPO’s and Internal Control manager when is necessary.
• Being able to compare users’ roles and request removed roles when those are in SOD conflict
• Maintain the different role in Blackline (preparer/approver/reviewer/account reviewer/finance reviewer/CFO, admin …) as the organization change
• Open / close period for month end
   

MAJOR SKILLS
1. Blackline and other functionalities Skills

• Basic Navigation Orientation in Blackline
• Understand the flow of the information in Blackline
• Blackline basic functionalities like open periods, review table, manage access
• Blackline navigation will depend in Veolia solution so, is desirable to have Tool knowledge but deep understanding of the solution will be provi

2. PROJECT COORDINATION/MANAGEMENT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Project Management technics are desirable, to follow up those open projects with the IT teams.

3. Other skills

• PMP Knowledge
• Interpersonal relationships

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related major

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Blackline with integration with SAP ECC
• Minimum 5 years of experience in all the sub modules of Finance and Controlling
• Experience in rolling out Blackline functionalities
• Experience as a administrator and end user of Blackline
• Experience in Support (L2 and L3) and implementation of SAP FICO
