Role: BI Operations Coordinator

Job Description
We are looking to hire a BI Operations Coordinator with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to assist with the day-to-day operation of our business intelligence and reporting platforms. The BI Operations Coordinator will be responsible for administering user access, monitoring platform health, and maintaining data quality across our BI ecosystem. This role plays a crucial part in supporting our organization’s use of data and analytics by ensuring the stability of our reporting platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage user licenses and access rights for BI platforms including Tableau and SAP Business Objects.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by managing reporting system access, permissions, and report ownership.
- Execute recurring manual data entry tasks with high attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely updates to reporting systems.
- Monitor reporting platforms for system outages and coordinate with IT teams to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for platform administration tasks.
- Provide basic support to end users regarding access-related issues and system functionality.
- Track and manage license utilization across platforms to optimize costs and ensure compliance.
Essential experience
- Demonstrated experience in system administration or platform operations support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in data entry and validation procedures.
- Basic understanding of user access management and security principles.
Ideal candidate
- A graduate in information systems, business administration, or related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- 2+ years of experience in system administration, IT support, or related operational role.
- Experience with BI and reporting systems such as Tableau or SAP Business Objects
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proven track record of reliable execution of operational tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive system access information.
- This role requires the individual to work in the extended UK shift (2 PM – 11 PM India time) and during critical issues, releases, updates, migration or other urgent business needs, there could be a requirement to work during US business hours (5:30 PM to 2:30 AM).
