Key Accountabilities:



Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:


  • The primary role is to support field sales team with all related administrative tasks, market analysis, sales performance of team & pricing proposals.
  • Support Sales from time to time with analysis and completion for pricing proposals for multi-million dollar business RFQs for air, ocean and ground.
  • Support Sales team for the implementation, maintenance and coordination of cost models and pricing/bid processes across the region.
  • Support Sales Team to coordinate and involve the solution and pricing specialist to obtain adequate information required to respond to RFIs and RFQs.
  • Participation in customer e-auctions.
  • Conduct, participate and document all solution and pricing conference calls
  • Support Sales in required reporting.
  • Collect and maintain data from competition and market developments.
  • Support Sales Team in implementing, assigning and training sales guys to implement won business projects.
  • Develop and maintain excellent service to internal and external customers

Knowledge, Experience & Skills


  • Education & Qualifications: Graduation/ Post- Graduation/ MBA Degree in Marketing & or relevant discipline is preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years Knowledge & Experience in freight forwarding industry. Knowledge of warehousing and domestic transportation will be an added advantage
  • Specialist Knowledge & Skills: Well versed with Air & Ocean – Import & Export business ops. High level of PC literacy on MS Word/Excel. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), internet, web-based and job specific related software applications. Advanced software skills, in particular for spreadsheet, Visio applications, graphics software or PowerPoint
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, customer focus with proactive attitude. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
