Job Description:


Experience level: More than 10 years’ experience in the banking area.  Proven experience in leading banking / product offerings for Banks, Financial Services Providers, and new market entrants that deliver real business benefits.  This should cover technical and operational components.


Proven experience in offering P&L management, analyst and advisor engagement, offering development and direct customer interactions to drive sales.


Able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation especially business owners at C-suite.


Must be able to identify and address solution gaps within Banking offering using industry knowledge, professional networks and working closely with key partners and clients.


Proven experience in playing a lead role in highly strategic Banking pursuits navigating internal and external processes.  This includes participating in client workshops, presentations and contract negotiations.


Be able to operate at a global level whilst developing strong relationships with local stakeholders and team members.


Position summary:


This highly visible, client facing and critical position will be the solutioning point of accountability Cards and Payments Solutions Globally.


Working as an individual contributor you must be self-motivated with a passion for payments, helping our clients achieve their goals and DXC succeed against competitors.


Key responsibilities include


Banking Offering / Product Leader


  • You will own the offering strategy, roadmap and innovation, including investment asks
  • Using your Banking knowledge and experience you will identify and help close solution gaps ensuring our offering remains competitive
  • Help to develop new collateral and marketing material to enable sales
  • Ensure Solution Architects use approved solution components from the toolkit with the aim of improving standardisation
  • Act as a conduit between the BPS Sales and Delivery teams at DXC ensuring a feedback loop in in place
  • Own and develop the Banking Offering toolkit ensuring our services remain relevant for our clients
  • Own and develop Banking BPS differentiators and ensure internal stakeholders understand what makes DXC unique
  • Regularly share updates to stakeholders across the business
  • Attend industry events and conferences to increase DXC visibility and to develop new partnerships and networks
  • Work with industry analysts and advisors to position Banking BPS positively.

Banking Consultancy


  • Provide consultancy, best practice to sales, pursuit and delivery teams to ensure key DXC differentiators and messaging is delivered – measure of success is building winning solutions
  • Support and help to secure new business from initial Business Development through to pursuits (RFIs, RFPs, ITTs)
  • Participate and recommend solutions that meet client objectives and desired outcomes
  • Recommend and help develop strategic partnerships that strengthen DXC’s value proposition and ultimately win rates
  • Help to develop DXC winning strategy including positioning against the competition
  • Support Governance processes ensuring successful sign offs.

Team Development & Mentoring


  • Develop and run the Banking community to share best practice, knowledge and experiences
  • Mentor cross functional teams, providing a role model and support for individual development
  • Mentors and encourage skill development of more junior Banking Architects & Delivery SMEs.

Partnership Development


  • Identify, recommend and develop strategic partnerships that strengthen our offering
  • Agree commercials agreements that deliver value to DXC

Sales Operations & Reporting


  • Create a Sales report and dashboard that is up to date with the latest information
  • Track deals and allow judgement to be applied by the wider BPS leadership team
  • Identify early warning signs of deals
  • Track deals against BPS targets
  • Provide adhoc sales reporting and data cuts to support leadership decision making.

Offering Analysis


  • Provide insight into existing Banking Offering performance at the global, regional and local levels
  • Deep dive analysis of the business such as under performing accounts, trends and cost analysis
  • Support leadership reporting & analysis.
