About your team


The Global Background Vetting team sits within the Global HR Shared Services function and works in partnership with Talent Acquisition, HR Support, HR Regulatory Operations, HR Legal, HR Business Partners and other business groups, providing oversight and governance of pre-employment/repeat vetting checks and screening requirements for our employees, suppliers, and partners.


The objective of the function is to ensure that FIL seeks to hire staff with the highest standards of honesty and integrity whilst fulfilling local regulatory requirements and providing a positive candidate on-boarding experience.


About your role
The Background Vetting Administrator will be responsible primarily for the delivery of the BV process for India, ensuring a high quality service delivery within agreed SLA’s, maintainance of best practices and execution of controls for task processing to align with CPO risk management framework and data governance.


  • Execute BV processes for new hires and repeat vetting checks for regulatory and signatory staff.
  • Ensure that queries and requests received on the ServiceNow platform are dealt with in accordance to SLA’s.
  • Update standard operating procedures.
  • Support any UAT, training and implementation of any enhanced or new BV processes.
  • Assist BV Managers with vendor management and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Stakeholders on specific cases.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to candidate and employee data.
