Job Description

Purpose of the role


To support Research Analysts in the production and delivery of Research with differentiated market insights and actionable ideas to Barclays Clients.  


Accountabilities


  • Compilation and analysis of data to help Analysts develop investment theses for their coverage areas.
  • Presentation of Research views to Barclays Clients by helping to prepare materials or responses to client questions.
  • Collaboration with the Analyst, Supervisory Analyst, Compliance and other stakeholders to help ensure Research is produced and delivered to Clients and internal stakeholders in a compliant manner.

To be successful as a “BA4-Research “, you should have experience with: administrative tasks like booking travel, processing expenses, etc


Basic/ Essential Qualifications:


  • Booking business related travel and arranging the necessary logistics
    • Managing complex travel/meeting schedules
    • Ensuring all travel adheres to the T&E policy
    • Arranging visa’s and licences where necessary
  • Expense processing
    • Processing of all expenses within the T&E guidelines and deadlines
    • Reconciling corporate credit cards - proactively managing all outstanding payments
    • Ensuring compliance with company expense policies.
    • Processing and auditing expense reports for accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
    • Maintaining accurate records or audit trail of expense processing done
    • Resolving any expense-related issues or emergencies promptly.
    • Staying updated on policies and best practices
  • Raising new Subscriptions, Market Data, IT requests on behalf of the team(s), troubleshooting and following through to resolution
  • Helping with other administrative tasks as required
  • Help to ensure there is reciprocal cover across the expense processing support group during times of absence.
  • Working closely with the Business Management team and Compliance to help ensure that all team activities are undertaken in accordance with firm guidelines and filtered through the correct channels for consultation and approval
  • Helping with other administrative tasks as required
