We’re looking for a talented DevOps Engineering Manager to lead DevOps teams responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining Azure cloud application. The chosen candidate must be a self-starter, possess great interpersonal skills, and have excellent communication abilities. A proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Build and maintain the production Infrastructure and services within Azure.
Write automation to scale systems sustainably, prevent service issues, or when they occur, quickly recover service.
Partner with development teams to improve system reliability, observability, and release velocity.
Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, postmortems, and root cause analysis and resolution.
Test automation and scripting using python and PowerShell
Maintenance of Azure DevOps ecosystem and its tools.
Automation of Dashboards and development of new features on AzureDevOps
Lead a team of dedicated and high-impact DevOps engineers, providing cultural, technical, and hands-on leadership.
Resolve issues arising from operations and work with various partner teams and leaders to solve problems in an incremental way.
Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objective.
Drive and enhance\implement incident resolution processes.
Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Set and communicate team/individual objectives and critical metric to inspire individuals to achieve high performance, may include defining cross team objectives too.
Mentor and guide teammates with standard methodologies of DevOps
Enablers for Cloud migration working with foundation and migration teams from the inception of the projects performing architectural reviews, operational acceptable testing and configuring Datadog dashboards and metrics.
What We Need:
8+ years in the azure cloud and DevOps field, with 3+ as a people leader Expert level experience in Containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker & Kubernetes
Good Knowledge on Terraform, CI/CD, maintenance, uptime and code quality metrics.
DevOps experience: GitLab, AzureDevOps, or integrated DevOps on any comparable git platform.
Experience with Object Oriented programming languages such as: Java, C#, Python, or Go.
Hands on Experience with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, YAML and Unix shell scripting
Development experience in analytics and monitoring, observability solutions like primarily Datadog for Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing
AppSec/DevSecOps tooling such as Veracode SAST and DAST
Advanced understanding of high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong experience in using Agile methodologies for team projects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar with a passion for empowering the team to manage tasks themselves.
Knowledge and/or experience in various non-Azure cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Understanding of identity and access management, and application security.
