Role Summary & Role Description:
A key member AWS Platform Engineering team under our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE); you will be responsible to drive design and implementation of best-in-class AWS Cloud Infrastructure to support State Street’s security, governance, and workload requirements. We are looking for an engineering focused and experienced AWS developer & leader with strong grounding on AWS cloud concepts, principles, Infrastructure as Code/Terraform and is able design and implement robust and automated solutions.

What you’ll do:
Design and build robust, scalable and secure technical solutions on the AWS Cloud
Work with platform architects to define components responsibilities, plan components evolution, and ensure components will meet platform needs.
Will be responsible for service enablement on AWS based on use case requirements
Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations
Utilize native AWS services to meet the firm’s technology and resiliency requirements
Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for AWS
Work with software testers to ensure the system supports both automated and manual test needs.
Closely collaborate with software development leads to understand workload requirements and guide them to the best leverage of cloud services, optimizing for performance, cost and architectural flexibility
Create automation scripts for all phases of SDLC
Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution
Performing other tasks as defined, planned, and approved by team lead
Who you are:
You will have a total of 15-18 years of experience out of which we expect you to have at least 7 to 8 years hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
Automation focused and engineering mind set
Experience with design and development of solutions across on-prem and the cloud for large enterprises
Strong understanding of cloud native design patterns and DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible).
Openness and ability to learn new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and passionate individual Team player; Ability to effectively communicate ideas and escalate issues across teams in a timely manner

No Hybrid Working. It is fully Working from Office
Schedule – 2 pm to 11 pm (IST)
