Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance to lead our finance team in the BFSI sector. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-15 years of finance and accounting experience, particularly within a company with a turnover of ₹100 Cr+. As AVP of Finance, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of a rapidly growing company within the BFSI industry. This is a leadership role where you will be directly involved with senior management and contribute to innovative financial strategies and long-term business success.
Qualifications & Skills Education
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Experience
10-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the BFSI sector.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance role with a proven track record of managing teams of 5+ members.
Strong experience in managing financial operations within a company with a turnover of ₹100 Cr+.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations specific to the BFSI industry.
Strong command of accounting software and HR software widely used in medium-sized enterprises.
Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Knowledge of taxation, audit processes, and internal controls.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Tools & Technology
Proficiency in accounting and financial reporting tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
Experience with HR software tools used in medium-sized enterprises.
