We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant specialist. 

In this role you will:

• Functional Manager of all resources and senior engineers within the pod, reports to the Head of Engineering (or directly to Head of DevOps in a small DevOps team)
• Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories.
• Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance.
• Ensure all the Engineering/Coding practices are strictly followed within the POD.
• Responsible for ensuring products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring group controls are maintained within the pod activities and remediation activities are resolved swiftly.
• Accountable for the operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services supported by the pod.
• Accountable for the performance of the pod activities and maintaining performance in line with benchmark objectives (inc productivity, quality and effectiveness measures)
• Support the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.
• Functionally manage the team to ensure that the delivery and operation of technologies and systems meets customer needs.
