SSD is focused on servicing a range of digital assets, including digital cash, central bank digital currency (CBDC), stablecoins and cryptocurrency. Using distributed ledger technology such as blockchain to track transactions in real-time, our infrastructure and service model will also support tokenization and smart contracts.
StateStreet Digital is looking for a technologist for building QA/Testing (automation) framework/infrastructure of the IT solutions.
Job Description
Key responsibilities:
• Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle.
• Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing. Should be creative and proactive thinker to make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.
• Mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework
• Develop test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data
• Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed
• Execute automated tests and manage the resulting defect log through the point of defect fix validation
• Contribute to accurate time estimates for automation test development
Required Qualifications:
• Technology Leader : 13+ years of related technology and domain experience with technology degree from tier1 college. Strong technologist with hands-on experience in QA - Manual and Automation.
• Strong experience in managing automation test projects
• Hands-on Technology Experience (Must have ):
o Hands-on expertise in Test Automation and setting up/creating Automation Frameworks.
o Strong SQL skills and/or data validation
o Hands on experience on Programming Languages - Java, Python, JS
o Good understanding of CI/CD
o Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Hands-on Technology Experience (Desirable ):
o Should have good understanding of DevOps, Cloud computing and the emerging technologies.
• Analytical skills: Core problem solving skills, ability to analyze available data and potential solutions, eliminate possible solutions and select an optimal solution.
• Technology Lead :
o Should have working experience in managing small high performing technical teams in Agile development environment.
o Results-oriented: Tenacious, gets things done
o Experienced, highly skilled as a design lead and develop.
o Problem solving and troubleshooting
