Drive and own end-to-end testing strategies - Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance, and Scalability & Reliability.
Drive agile test practices across product/project.
Willing & ability to strategize, design, run test, code and would contribute in mentoring/coaching other test engineers to do their job effectively.
Develop and institutionalize effective test automation framework(s). Responsible for test automation infrastructure and design; factoring in cost-effectiveness and customer environments
Design and implement efficient continuous integration and test infrastructure that enables daily build & test practices across all projects.
Institutionalize test coverage strategy and practices.
Analyze verification and validation strategies, and drive towards reducing overlaps
Institutionalize test artifacts review process and ensure the process is followed in the project
Institutionalize test tools and process that could continuously improve productivity
Works closely with product management, engineering & architects to understand product design, influences product architecture, and design decisions for testability.
Recommends process improvements to increase test quality, improve test productivity, and streamline test process.
Define and publish metrics (Key Performance Indicators) that measures the effectiveness of test practices.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Information Technology
Experience (Years):
4+ years industry/ IT experience
Technologies required:
Skills Required
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Hands on experience software product development with focus on Test Automation of Analytics web application with strong database knowledge.
Hands on experience on various test automation tools and frameworks including open source tools – Protractor, Selenium, Jasmine, JMeter, SOAP UI,PlayWright etc.
Experience working with source control and configuration management tools like TFS, Github
Experience and understanding of build management, continuous integration (CI)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of working on cloud technologies.
Experience with client-side technologies HTML 5.0, JQuery, JavaScripts, CSS , Angular JS
Experience developing products conforming to US FDA quality system regulations.
Experience working in a multi-site environment.
