Job Overview

The role is to be part of the Voice and Music team which delivers software projects primarily focusing on Audio use-cases and Bluetooth Profiles which go into Qualcomm IP for V& M business for Qualcomm’s personalized audio experience solution in the emerging wireless (Bluetooth) audio market. Demonstrate technical ownership while being closely involved in design and implementation of new features and market driven enhancements to the embedded application software. The engineer will take ownership of a component of a project and will be involved in delivering the software on a timescale agreed with the group leader/program manager. The engineer should be able to work with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant industry work experience
• Good C programming skills with relevant experience in writing C code.
• Inclination towards working in Embedded software
• Good trouble shooting and analytical skills that can be applied to resolve software issues.
• Communication skills with ability documentation detailing of features and collaborate well with teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience / Understanding of Bluetooth profiles (A2DP,AVRCP,HFP and other BLE profiles. )
• Hands-on experience with Embedded systems
• Understanding of basic Audio handling mechanisms in embedded environment. Understanding of Audio internals is an added advantage
• Usage of protocol analysers and packet sniffers
• Knowledge on debugging system issues and memory issues
