About this roleTeam Overview BlackRock SMA Solutions helps clients customize portfolios for unique tax, values-alignment, or investment exposures across direct indexing, fixed income, active equity, and multi-asset. We deliver world-class service to all our clients, from wealth advisors to family offices to endowments and foundations.About This RoleOur Operations Transformation & Control team is responsible for driving growth, enhancing efficiency and improving the overall client experience for BlackRock’s SMA Solutions clients. The team collaborates with Operations Leaders, Investment Infrastructure, Portfolio Management, and Technology while driving tactical and strategic projects. We concentrate on optimizing processes, reducing risk, and developing the workflows that drive our industry-leading client service capabilities.We are rapidly growing and seeking SMA Operations Transformation and Control Specialist. This role will have the opportunity to influence significant change and create a lasting impact. The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.Key Responsibilities:· Collaborate with stakeholders to transform workflows and processes across Client Onboarding & Implementation and Investment Operations teams· Utilize project management and technical skills to lead the design, development, and documentation of both tactical and strategic solutions· Develop and manage testing plans and procedures, working closely with technology teams and end-users to establish best practices· Support business intelligence initiatives to enhance escalation management, oversight reporting, and KPI tracking· Handle ad-hoc data requests for both internal and external stakeholders· Convey project details and updates effectively to senior management· Work closely with team members to understand and adhere to BlackRock's operational standards and BlackRock PrinciplesQualifications:Experience in implementing scalable workflows and repeatable business processes3-6 years of industry experienceProficiency with ETL concepts and experience in building dashboards using PowerBIKnowledge of RPA (robotic process automation) concepts, with BluePrism experience being a plusFamiliarity with low-code/no-code tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and/or AirtableTechnical skills in several of the following: JavaScript, Python, SQL, and VBAKnowledge BLK Aladdin is a plusAdvanced knowledge of Salesforce and related development is highly preferredStrong organizational and project management skills, with familiarity of Agile methodologiesSelf-motivated, creative thinker with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solvingCapacity to work in a fast-paced environmentFlexible with shift timingsBlackRock is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
