The Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) is looking for Associate Test and Evaluation Lab Technician. Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Experience in handling the Electrical and Electronics Measuring Instruments.
  • Maintains detailed requirements and specifications for various electronic products.
  • Conducts various methods of testing and analysis to support design.
  • Gathers data of technical performance measures and performs basic analysis. Provides basic engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems.
  • Supporting Soldering and fault trouble shooting for multilayer boards.
  • Well versed with Analog, Digital circuits, Active and Passive components with respective Electrical Specification.
  • Physical component identification and selection.
  • Following FIFO for inventory.
  • Must be able to drive Lab Metric Scorecard and be instrumental in driving the same. Lab Metric Includes- Lab 5S Standards, Lab Safety Standards, Lab FOD Standards, Access and Control, Lab information, Lab Equipment Utilization, Asset Tracking, Lab Info sec standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools for monitoring and tracking of assets. 
  • Conducts tests per plan and processes data, documents and communicates test plans and results.
  •  Interfaces with engineers, peers, group leaders, internal and external suppliers, and laboratory users for direction, collaboration, approval, and identifying requirements to resolve design, manufacturing, and related process problems.
  • Maintains Instruments for calibration and repairs as and when needed.
  • Keeps a track of calibrated/Non Calibrated/Not Working Instruments.
  • Drive Lab utilization through allocation of Lab table following Project priority and equipment needs.
  • Responsible for raising Purchase Requirement and tracking the same till receipt of material and processing the Invoices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):


  • ​Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is required.
  • Around 5 to 8 Years of Experience in supporting role of Electronics Hardware Lab Engineer.
  • Minimum experience 10+ in supporting as Electronics Hardware Lab technician
  • Experience with analog/digital/power supply circuit designs and analysis

Desired Skills:


  • IPC certification to support as Laboratory focal.
  • Completed all relevant trainings following Lab Safety and Boeing Infosec guidelines.
  • Implementing 5S and train teams on Lab operational requirements.

Typical Education & Experience:


Diploma and typical experience in engineering classification, with 8+ years experience
