(Name & Job Title):Associate Territory Sales Executive Dry Eye & Ocular Health. Reports to:Area Sales Manager JOB PROFILE JobPurpose (Stateinonesentencetheoverallobjectiveofthejob) To achieve target sales of in-line products within budgets for the designated territory. Major Accountabilities (Describe the main results of the job to be achieved ) • To deliver the team performance contract and individual performance plan to meet or exceed sales target within agreed budgets. • To gain formulary acceptance and increased usage for promoted products in all relevant accounts. • To prepare & implement account development & territory business plans. • To improve clinical sales & marketing knowledge of promoted & competitor products. • To maintain an up to date knowledge of the health provision environment. • To apply science behind the molecule and concept behind managing the Therapeutic Area for effec- tive customer influencing • To identify & develop key opinion leaders to increase product usage, gain formulary acceptance and product endorsement. • To improve selling skills by undertaking the required skill practice or learning identified as part of an ongoing training programme. • To improve productivity through delivery of QTQ objectives. • To update & maintain sales tracking systems to maximise effectiveness on territory. • To operate within the relevant codes of practice. Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level includ- ing the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative). Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance will be measured: indicators, activities...) Job Dimensions (Indicate key facts and figures) Number of subordinate Financial responsibility: (Budget, Cost, Sales, etc.) Backup: Successor: Ideal Background (State the minimum and desirable education and experience level) Components Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in any specialization Desired – Bachelor’s in Pharma/ Science, Master’s Fluent communication in English – both written and spoken Experience requirement 2 years of handling Opthal/ OTC products, Handled Novel Product Launches, Launched New Products & Molecules/ Managed Science based selling with a proven record of sales performance. Knowledge of the health care system and its changing environment.
