Associate Staff Engineer, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience 5+ years
• Excellent working expertise in SAP application design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and technical architecture
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform, especially for integration in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
• Expertise in leveraging SAP Cloud Platform services for integration purposes.
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform Mobility and HANA XS development would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver architecture, and associated products.
• Experience with SAP CPI, SCP for Mobility, and HANA XS development.
• Proficient in working with interfaces that connect SAP with related systems and database technologies.
• Familiarity with other cloud environments such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or AWS is a plus.
• Understanding of SAP's product strategy, including S/4 HANA positioning and complementary tools and technologies
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver (ABAP & JAVA) solutions such as SAP Portal, ERP, PI/PO, and SSO
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, including Suite on HANA, BW on HANA, and S/4HANA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customer stakeholders, business users, vendors, and both technical and functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding the clients business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the clients requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
