Common accountabilities:
- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.
Specific accountabilities:
● Analyze specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
● Design systems and code
_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
_ Model, design and implement databases.
● Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst
● Document your work
_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
Technical Skills
Professional software development experience on advance C++, Java, J2EE, Python, JSON, SQL and Shell Scripting
Professional software development experience in web technologies (Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc)
Must have worked on Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux, Knowledge of Shell Scripting
Model, design and implement databases (RDBMS) like Oracle, PL/SQL experience, good command over SQL
Exposure to CI/CD Tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven etc
Design-patterns and software architecture
Experience on UI/UX design and development is a plus
Other: Agile framework, Teamwork, collaboration, Communication, problem solving.
Required Qualifications
Must possess a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience in the Technology industry.
Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software using OOP concepts.
Experience in developing applications using C++, advance C++, JSON and SQL etc.
Comfortable in working in an Agile environment that promotes active communication, feedback, and flexibility.
Comfortable in working directly with colleagues, stakeholders and customers from different cultures.
Capable of learning new things and quickly become proficient as technology and the team’s priorities change.
Strong analytical skills. Proven ability to analyze and solve problems and issues effectively and quickly.
Team player and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
Worked on finding Memory leaks and fixing them.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with implementing cloud deployed solutions (Azure preferred)
Knowledge on DevOps Tools, concepts (CI/CD pipeline, automation)
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
