Summary:
Technology Third Party Risk Management is a space that continues to grow both in size and visibility within Global Technology Services. The IT Strategic Spend and Optimization team is looking to add a member of the team to drive efficiencies, meet program level SLAs and highlight concerns with program and vendor related metrics. We see this role as someone to strengthen the team and company objectives by optimizing growth, driving productivity and strengthening resiliency across the bank, all in line with our One Northern Trust Strategy.
Job Description:
Facilitate and oversee our Technology Third Party Risk assessments and ongoing monitoring requirements.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional written and oral communication skills while balancing details of risk requirements. Candidates should be collaborative, well organized and eager to contribute to team goals.
Responsibilities:
Execute against Technology Third Party Risk Management program expectations by obtaining partner feedback/approvals for Technology engagements
Stakeholder coordination and execution support of Technology vendor management risk assessments
Comfortable scheduling and leading discussions with partners on open Third-Party Risk items/questions
Ability to collaborate with APAC partners in Third Party Risk Management to ensure timely approval and cleanup of Technology engagements within the Coupa Risk Assess tool
Ability to complete weekly/monthly reporting activities to show progress against annual goals
Assist the Technology TPRM team and Tech partners with offboarding expired engagements
Quality review of our Ongoing Monitoring artifacts
Mediate issues as needed for in-scope vendors
Skills
3+ years of overall experience.
Familiarity with Third Party Risk Management concepts and fundamental requirements
High level of attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong grasp of interpreting and manipulating data using Microsoft products
Comfortable collaborating with NT partners (Technology partners, Third Party Risk Management, Technology Risk)
Willingness to schedule partner meetings to close out open items
Eagerness to learn and engage with NT partners
Prior experience with Technology vendors preferred but not required
