Associate/Senior Associate – Banking & Finance (Mumbai)

A prestigious law firm, is looking for a talented Associate/Senior Associate (2-4 years PQE) to join their Banking & Finance team in Mumbai. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work on high-value financial transactions, regulatory advisory, and complex lending matters.

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various financing documents, including loan agreements, security documents, trust deeds, and debenture documentation.
• Conducting due diligence on borrowers and collateral structures for credit transactions.
• Advising clients on banking regulations, compliance matters, and NBFC issues.
• Assisting with syndicated lending, structured finance transactions, and external commercial borrowings (ECBs).
• Engaging in negotiations with financial institutions, banks, and corporate clients.
• Providing advice on RBI regulations, financial restructuring, securitization, and insolvency proceedings.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience working in law firms, banks, or NBFCs.
• Strong understanding of banking laws, credit structuring, and financial documentation.
• Exposure to corporate finance, project finance, debt capital markets, and structured lending transactions is an advantage.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and client-centric environment.
