Associate Principal Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 11+ years
• Hands on working experience in Cloud Architecture and DevOps.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments using best practices for monitoring and cloud governance.
• Strong experience in designing and building advanced cloud-based solutions and migrating workloads to cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to optimize cloud infrastructure and keep up-to-date with cloud computing best practices.
• Extensive experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and building end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of containerization frameworks like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native container services.
• Extensive experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates.
• Experience with Configuration Management (CM) tools such as Ansible, Chef, SaltStack, or Puppet.
• Strong expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, CloudWatch, DataDog, or Zabbix.
• Experience with logging tools such as Splunk and LogStash.
• Expertise in scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Shell, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, or Perl.
• Experience in configuring and managing databases and data sources like MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, Neo4J.
• Strong experience with version control tools like Git, SVN, or BitBucket.
• Well-versed in Jira and Confluence administration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it.
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
