Functional Description:

The Colleague Services (CS) organization within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG - also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a meaningful role in providing the outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. We build, run, and evolve the incredible platforms, products and services that enable colleagues to do their best work every single day.


This role will work with the Manager of Digital Product Solution Design within CS. As part of this team, you will manage BI/OTBI report building. You will partner with HR operations, product, and Technology engineering to unlock the full potential of our HR systems.


Job responsibilities include:
  • Developing reports, dashboards & infolets using Oracle HCM Cloud reporting tools and technologies i.e. OTBI, BI Publisher and Dashboards for Oracle Talent, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Helpdesk modules.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud report, dashboard & infolet.
  • Staying up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases, updates, and features.
  • Investigation and resolution of system and technical errors. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate solutions which may include systems modifications improvements or new procedures.
  • Collaborate with CEG teams, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with our Oracle HCM products.

Key Qualifications:


  • 3+ years’ experience as report developer for Oracle Talent and ORC modules.
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle HCM Cloud, including expertise in BI Publisher, OTBI, Infolet and Dashboards.
  • A good balance of eye for business and technical knowledge with a proven track record of driving platform changes with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes.
  • Good understanding of HR business processes, HR data models, and HR industry standard methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
