Join our pioneering team in Bangalore as we expand Amazon's offerings into Travel & Entertainment services for our Indian customers. In this role, you will drive customer-focused marketing strategies for new category launches, shape go-to-market approaches, and develop innovative solutions that enhance the shopping experience. This position offers unique opportunities to build new categories from the ground up and make a significant impact on Amazon's expansion in India.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and execute marketing strategies to drive awareness and adoption of new Travel & Entertainment offerings
- Develop and implement data-driven merchandising tactics to optimize conversion rates across categories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels
- Analyze customer behavior data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth
- Manage relationships with marketing partners and agencies to deliver compelling campaigns
- Create and optimize content strategy to enhance product discovery and customer engagement
A day in the life
You will start your day reviewing performance metrics and customer feedback from various channels. You might spend your morning collaborating with creative teams on upcoming campaign briefs, then move on to analyzing customer research data to identify new opportunities. Your afternoon could involve working with tech teams to optimize the customer experience or meeting with business partners to align on marketing initiatives. You'll regularly participate in strategic planning sessions to shape the future of these new categories.
About the team
Our team is at the forefront of expanding Amazon's services in India, focusing on Travel & Entertainment categories. We work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and experimentation are encouraged. You'll collaborate with diverse teams across business, technology, and operations, all focused on creating exceptional customer experiences.
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience in a marketing role
- Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges
