Associate Manager Solution Engineering (Big Data and Cloud Operations Lead)– Pune, Maharashtra, India

You will be working with a team of engineers with a broad range of responsibilities including all aspects of software engineering like requirements understanding and validation, solution design detailed design, development, testing and software configuration management. Build products, systems, and services that are optimized, well organized and maintainable, and have high impact on our end users.



Role Responsibilities
Need to oversee and coordinate between the admin team, application team, and development team.


1. For the Admin Team:


  • Manage infrastructure-level tasks like installations, configurations, certificate renewals, and applications monitoring(24/7) ,etc.
  • Ensure smooth operations across platforms like AWS Services, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, HBase, and Snowflake.
  • Ensure timely resolution of infrastructure issues and proper incident management.

2. For the Application Team:


  • Oversee job scheduling and execution via Rundeck.
  • Ensure proper monitoring of applications and addresses any related issues.
  • Facilitate coordination between application and infrastructure teams to address any dependencies

3. For the Development Team:


  • Act as a liaison between development and operations to ensure that any infrastructure or application requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication for efficient troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with devteam regarding new requirements and work with admin/app team accordingly.
  • Ensure timely feedback loops between the dev, admin, and application teams to foster continuous improvement
  • Manage escalations related to system outages, performance issues, or delays in task execution, coordinating between teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team regarding system health, ongoing tasks, and future plans
  • Encourage collaboration between teams to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Facilitate planning for system upgrades, migrations, and future infrastructure needs.
  • Ensure alignment of priorities across all teams to meet both short-term objectives and long-term goals for the project.

Role Requirements


  • 6+ years of industry experience including 4+ years of engineering experiences AWS(EC2,ECS,RDS,S3,etc),Hadoop, HBASE, Kafka, Apache Spark, Snowflake/SQL..
  • You will have experience working with data stored in Data Lakes using technologies implemented in Hadoop and or Amazon S3 & message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores such as Apache Kafka or Amazon MKS. You wll bring forth relevant experience into UNIX.
  • You will have experience in designing and deploying data analytics pipelines across multi-cloud platforms & data warehouse design, implementation and administration.
