Job Profile Summary
The Associate Manager, Data Operations is responsible for supervising a team of Data Operations Associates focused on managing EDC data for contracts with CRO’s, clinical sites, clients and investigators. This team receives incoming enrollment data, conducts data review, and completes necessary edits for all assigned clinical trials and ensuring site satisfaction. The Associate Manager, Data Operations acts as a subject matter expert for site service team members.
Essential functions
• Acts as escalation point for Site, Sponsor, and internal teams
• Subject Matter Expert and point of escalation for Data Operations Team
• Works with Data Operations Manager to establish Sponsor/Protocol metadata repository
• Understands and communicates requirements for data cleansing and integration
• Understands and applies quality standards for all integration projects
• Aides in the creation and integration of Protocol Level Budget Structures; Implements and tests process improvements
• Identifies and tests system enhancements alongside IT
• Responsible for ensuring receipt and reconciliation of all data files
• Understands SSAE 18 compliance and ensures compliance as appropriate
• Assist in establishing study EDC data structure to ensure integrity
• Responsible for data integrity of contract terms as it is entered into designated systems in accordance with project requirements
• Managing site inquiries and update cases in our case management system
• Data reporting as needed for capturing performance metrics and forecasting
• Site close out reconciliation upon study close out
• Conducts enrollment data review on an ongoing basis, leads database audits, monitors and validates data within tracking system for accuracy
• Manages ongoing edits and updates of applicable EDC data for accurate Site payments
• Assist in the preparation of project status reports that are reviewed with the client during project team meetings
• Establishes performance expectations for assigned team members
• Creates annual development plans and performs annual performance reviews
• Determines resource requirements and support Data Operations Manager in resource planning activities to ensure sufficient capacity for client service delivery
• Leads quarterly trainings for Data Operations group
• Performs other duties as assigned

Experience
