Global Finance GBS Bangalore, established in 2007, supports Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, Order to Cash, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore. The position
As an Associate Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:


Drive Novo Nordisk service delivery across Order to Cash processes, ensuring minimal issues. Collaborate with stakeholders on Receivables Management, Open Items, Dunnings, Statements, Risk Reviews, and Order Hold Release processes. Work closely with Supervisors and the GPO organization to implement new tools and improve metrics and reporting. Engage with Senior Stakeholder Management to stabilize and improve processes, building transparency with metrics. Contribute to designing future processes in line with Finance GBS and GPO strategy.


Flag conditions not met as risks and develop solutions with LOB/LFT for relevant affiliates. Act as a Change Manager voice for GBS Operations, addressing standardization change requests. Participate in GBS Finance System trainings to ensure team readiness.


As a Operational Manger: Day-to-day operations of Receivables Management Dunning / AR open items / Statements / Customer / LFT (Local Finance team) follow-up. Future state of credit risk and current order hold release processes.


  • People manager who has to manage a team of 15+ people as part of the role. Will have a reporting of single or multiple supervisors based on the structure.
  • Doing the annual feedback / Regular feedback / IDP (Internal Development Plan) to ensure maximum and relevant updates.
  • Should manage team billing / budget / ensuring issue and concerns are addressed / escalated on time.
  • Work closely with the HR / TA partners on key metrics of recruiting / attrition management and resolving / understanding people concerns.
  • Driving the Org culture and be an e.g. of leading the way. Be open to travel to affiliate location / meetings with HQ workshops etc.


Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:


  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (or equivalent). Preferred experience in Cash Apps/Receivables Management.
  • Proven people management experience, including performance management and related activities.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Finance center, with 5+ years in Order to Cash. Knowledge of SAP and ERP implementation is a plus.
  • Experience in an international work environment. Project management skills with a track record in operational excellence and process efficiency.
  • Self-driven and dedicated, with a desire to influence. Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder management abilities. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Implementation of S4 Hanna and other tool / technology as relevant. Working on managing the tool testing and support.
  • Be a proponent of standardization / process improvement and drive relevant updates across process.
  • Driving sustainable growth and being part of implementing automation / efficiency tool and technology to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure the right metrics are in place to provide visibility to process health and performance. Should also work as a lever to provide positive feedback and improvement areas.
  • Should work with different stakeholders / affiliates on process transition and stabilization on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure proper back-up and continuity of services during exigencies.
  • Look at org structure and team set-up suggest and enhance the work environment / operational efficiency on an ongoing basis.
