Overview This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization. This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by supporting the Revenue Management team. In this role the Revenue Managmenet analyst will support the maximization of revenues and margin by supporting the development of our commercial and sales plans across our North America beverage teams. Responsibilities Support Net Revenue Management function with Pricing, Pack Price, Mix and Trade Spend analysis and recommendations for AOP, three-year pricing roadmap, ad-hoc projects e.g. playbook, sugar tax, competition tactical moves, etc Data gathering from variety sources – internal and external (desk research, syndicated data, competition, etc.) Perform analyses – market trends, key observations, translating complex data into insights Formulate hypothesis & options for pursuing to ensure competitive position in marketplace – formulate volume, revenue, profit, share change impact Development of pricing strategies for recommendations Power Bi skills – must have, Coding Skills – Python modelling experience and ability to understand statistical modelling (regression, cluster analysis, etc.) Present insights and recommendations to Sales Leadership team on an established time period and in a clear, concise manner Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology Collate and format large and complex sets of data across multiple channels, customers and sales areas. Analyze data to distil meaningful insights on performance trends and opportunities Manage expectations through verbal and written interactions with division, sector and sales functions Ensure delivery of accurate and timely data in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA) Work across multiple functions to aid in collecting insights for action-oriented cause of change analysis Ability to focus against speed of execution and quality of service delivery rather than achievement of SLAs Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology Scale-up operation in-line with business growth, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity Create an inclusive and collaborative environment Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Sales Analytics/Sales Management/Revenue Managmeent Effective problem-solving skills to devise solutions to drive profitability and support revenue and market share goals. Good story telling and ability to articulate analyses in a clear & concise manner. Very strong analytical skills – excellent competency in MS Excel is a must, as is experience of managing complex, incomplete & inconsistent datasets and defining strategic analytics (market sizing/growth forecasts etc). Experience related to Data Analytics and Reporting including the usage of relevant tools and software packages (Power BI & Python) Deep grounding in analytical logic and ability to translate complex data into powerful insight Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve / search out facts / engage internal & external contacts to source data without prior detailed process/guidance Clarity in communication (English language) to enable production of a very high standard of commentary that is impactful and credible amongst our most senior audiences.
