The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell’s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.What's the roleReview red line markup (RLM) changes in technical drawings, collaborating with team members, incorporating revisions, and contributing to overall work quality. Work in EDMS (Doc Management tool), CMMS (SAP) and for Maintenance, assurance, technical support and standardization of technical data and documents of the manufacturing sites, chemical plants, supply chain and distribution locations. With support roles on site engagement & technical & tools forums.Relevant experience in onshore/offshore Energy industries in engineering designing in FEED, Detail Engineering and As-built process. Monitors functional mailbox for Document Turnovers on daily basis and prioritizes the completion of these document turnovers based on agreed criteria and in line with asset standards.Understands data related maintenance reports, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation, and maintenance manuals of OEMs for Energy domain operations. Understanding the functions of the various equipment’s /instruments and knowledge of reading/ interpreting the engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs) is an advantage.Proficient in interpreting and understanding corrections, redline markups, and updates across related engineering drawings.Opens each drawing or document and performs quality check based on the Asset’s Document Management standards - returns document turnovers to the originator that don’t meet baseline quality standards. Sends required notifications and closes document turnover per instruction when complete.Updates/Amend documents to SharePoint, adds metadata as per work instruction.Individual contributor roleShift work following operating hours of the assigned project/asset across the globe Virtual working with key stakeholders for day-to-day operationsEffective initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within areas of responsibility.A self-starter and reliable person, with good verbal and written skills in English.Exposes the individual to all cultural backgrounds and organizational levels across the globe, across diverse time zones.What do we need from youThe successful candidate should have Graduate or Master’s Engineering degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 4+ years relevant experience in Instrumentation / Mechanical.Strong aptitude for Learner MindsetExcellent knowledge and hands on experience on at least one of AutoCAD 2D/3D, Micro Station, and Other 3D (PDMS, Aveva E3D) applications familiarity with Markups, understanding of Schematics with 2D and 3D renderings.Knowledge in Design Engineering standards for PEFS.Skilled in SharePoint, MS tools & Adobe Basic knowledge of Document work process and process flow.Knowledge in AMS process, LMS/BMSKnowledge in Field and be able to provide analytical solution.Behavioral Competences: Excellent communication skills and a quick learner.
