Role Overview
We are seeking a highly Reliability Quality Lead to join our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by overseeing the comprehensive testing strategy and execution for all our initiatives. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 plus years of experience in quality assurance and reliability testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, delivery, product teams, to ensure alignment with company priorities. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a team of onsite and virtual team, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in testing technologies and methodologies is crucial to this role, as you will be responsible for implementing these innovations to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
What will you do in this role
Lead and mentor the Reliability Engineering team, fostering high performance and accountability.
Collaborate with other leaders to implement robust software development practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability requirements are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
Define a comprehensive process for managing incidents, including identification, logging, investigation, resolution, and post-incident analysis.
Lead end-to-end test delivery for Veeva and Salesforce, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Manage stakeholders and ensure effective communication and alignment on testing activities.
Oversee team management and foster a collaborative, high-performing testing environment.
Create detailed end-to-end test strategies and plans for CRM platforms, focusing on pharmaceutical applications.
Ensure all testing processes meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry best practices.
Lead and coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams for seamless integration and delivery.
Identify potential risks in the testing process and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness, as per latest industry trends.
Research and implement industry best practices and new testing technologies to continuously improve our QA processes.
What should you have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or any Technology Stream from a renowned University.
12+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, preferably with a reputable organization.
Proven experience managing large-scale testing projects, preferably in a complex and multi-platform environment.
Experience working in pharmaceutical industry is a must, at least 8 years.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with various testing types - ETL, Veeva CRM, Data Migration, Functional, Validation, and Regression Testing.
Acumen to continuously enhance testing process and improve testing efficiency, including the orchestration of Gen AI and automation enablement.
Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
Proficiency in test management tools like ALM, JIRA, JIRA XRAY, and Confluence
These skills would be an advantage to have
Experience with hypothesis-driven agile development, managing teams in different locations, and working in regulated environments.
Experience in building and executing technology roadmaps, managing third-party consultancies, and guiding globally distributed virtual teams
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Agile SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language)
Familiarity with AI Technologies such as GPT and Copilot.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSM are a plus.
