Associate Director, Product Management & Center of Excellence
We are seeking an Associate Director of Product Management in the Commercial AI Capabilities (CAIC) function within the Human Health Digital, Data and Analytics (HHDDA) organization.
The CAIC function within the HHDDA organization is responsible for building and scaling digital products to primarily support marketing, sales and finance teams within the Human Health department in an effort to commercialize Company’s assets in Oncology, General Pharma and Vaccines. The digital product teams within the CAIC organization encompass cross functional disciplines of engineering, data science, data engineering and visualization, and range from Next Best Engagement recommendation models for sales representatives, Gen AI based copilot applications for sales and marketing, to forecasting applications for our finance partners.
The HHDDA organization is embarking on an ambitious journey moving from a service-oriented delivery model supporting our business stakeholders to a product operating model within certain parts of our organization. With the sponsorship of senior leadership, this transformation is being championed by the Product Management Center of Excellence (COE) team within the CAIC function. The COE team is responsible for setting the standards, frameworks and governance for the overall organization to move to the new operating model. The team’s remit includes (a) establishing frameworks to productize and scale our zero to one build; (b) creating governance to measure the value of our products and ensure focus on what adds most value; (c) enabling transformation from project-based output driven model towards a product operating model that focuses on outcomes.
As an Associate Director of product management within the team, you will be responsible for evangelizing and driving the product operating model at our Pune hub. This is a high visibility leadership role that involves influencing senior leadership, peers, and junior members within the Pune organization. You are an ideal candidate for the role if you bring in a diverse set of skills and experience in building and scaling technology products for internal users, while collaborating across cross-functional groups evaluating tradeoffs among competing priorities.

You are passionate about coaching, mentoring, upskilling, and training product teams. You do this because you have proven expertise in product management principles and best practices. You make your theory relevant by diving into individual product areas and adding value to how they go about building their vision, strategy, roadmaps, and execution. You love problem-solving and devising creative solutions to meet the needs of the business. You are customer obsessed, data-driven, and able to operate with minimal supervision. You are able to form relationships with your peers and influence them into new ways of working while respectfully understanding their current ways of working.
Key job responsibilities:
Develop a clear understanding of the operating model, how it is different from the current model and be able to articulate the change to different levels of the organization
Work with product management COE leadership in the US to upskill and train product teams in driving product vision, roadmaps, strategy.
Partnering with product delivery teams on the development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
Collaborating with product success teams to track key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for optimization.
Assess gaps in talent, product quality and identify areas of continuous improvement in our ways of working. Work with senior leaders to bridge gaps.
