Job Description


Associate Director - HR Operations APAC


The Asia Payroll & Benefits Lead reports directly to the Director, GSD HR APJC, and leads a regional P&B team (12-15 team members) across Asia markets.  Travel involved (15-20%)


The Asia Payroll & Benefits Lead will play a crucial role in defining and realizing regional P&B strategy & initiatives and become one of the key contributors to achieving the strategic roadmap for Regional HR Operations. 


Additionally, you will play an important role in adding value to the APJC HR Operations organization by ensuring Payroll processing, Benefits operations excellence, and regulatory compliance while acting as a liaison to multiple internal stakeholders as well as HR C&B COEs, Finance & Treasury.


The Asia HR Ops lead is responsible for :-


1) take the lead of the Asia Payroll & Benefits team to contribute to deploying regional Payroll strategy, supporting the structure of the function and the way Payroll & Benefits operations are delivered across Asia countries.


2)  lead regional ADP Payroll projects local deployment, manage internal and external payroll & benefits processes, including ongoing supplier relationship management, migrating payroll ownership and suppliers in accordance with company's global payroll strategy.


3) contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies & procedures and technology & automated data interface process deployment, accuracy and productivity of the payroll functions including payroll vendor relations, internal control monitoring, developing and maintaining the high quality of delivery standards.


4) acting as the regional escalation point for responsible countries for Payroll and Benefits Administration service delivery, driving a team of payroll professionals across multiple countries, instilling desired ways of working, and driving team engagement.


5) coaching and alignment of internal teams and suppliers to assure adherence to agreed service levels (quantitative and qualitative) and local legal and regulatory policies, driving a culture of service excellence.


6) partnering regularly with key stakeholders:  HR Business Partners, HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs), Finance, Procurement, and internal and external HR Service delivery to drive Service Excellence, prioritize workloads and manage issue resolution.


7) change Management - consistently demonstrates Leadership Standards; is a leader of change and actively drives strategy development and implementation in the organization
