This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Associate Director - Health & Benefit Consulting - Grade F</span></b></p><p></p><p><u><b>What can you expect?</b></u></p><ul><li>The <span>Senior Pharmacy Consultant</span> will lead the accurate and timely data and financial analysis on large, complex pharmacy projects</li><li>A significant part of this role is to be a key contributor for projects while developing and growing intellectual capital</li><li>Manages the scope, quality, timeliness of multiple client deliverables in researching, analyzing, and evaluating drug therapies, disease states, and pharmacy benefit plans and programs in the US. </li><li>Learn and understands high level financials related to pharmacy benefit offerings, plan designs and assists with contract reviews.</li><li>Reviews RFP clinical and formulary information gathered but the team, analyzes and interprets the results, edits and finalizes the executive summary report, and sends this report to the US team.</li><li>Assist in developing/writing Summary Plan Documents for US based employers based on program decisions made by employers (crosswalk to be provided by US based colleagues).</li><li>Assist with evaluation model development and maintenance for projects that involve both medical and pharmacy claim data.</li><li>Organize and maintain databases for employer clients and industry vendors.</li><li>Develops and maintains personal and working relationships with key US team stakeholders facilitate the sharing of advice and information relevant to the client, developing new and expanded business.</li><li>Create or support written industry points of view/blog posts/whitepapers.</li><li>Support written responses for US based clients seeking information about Mercer’s US Pharmacy Team - Request for Proposal (RFP) response support.</li><li>Collaborates with other off-shore pharmacy team members.</li><li>Continually evaluates processes looking for opportunities to automate or improve upon current workflow.</li><li>With a growing understanding of the US healthcare system, provide clinical guidance on PBM programs and services.</li><li>Helps to draft points of view and assists other clinicians on clinical reviews. </li><li>Keep up with US industry happenings, news, and new vendor offerings.</li><li>Other research and analysis as related to the US prescription drug marketplace and industry.</li><li>Guides and trains other pharmacy team members and peer reviews their work.</li><li>Acts as an advisor to junior staff for problem resolution and guidance on appropriate ways to deal with challenges.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What is in it for you?</u></b></p><ul><li>Work for a global industry leader with a dynamic and inclusive culture</li><li>Excellent growth opportunity</li><li>Make an impact by helping US companies through the development of meaningful pharmacy benefit programs for employees and their families</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>We will count on you to:</u></b></p><ul><li>Manage the day-to-day project management and support with the key members of the US pharmacy team</li><li>Prepare project results for US pharmacy colleagues supporting clients, carriers, managed care entities and other related entities</li><li>Work with the US based pharmacy colleagues to initiate projects.
