Position: Finance Lead for Global Capability Centre
Attributes required for position
- Indian Chartered Accountant / MBA from a reputed institute
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in FP&A - US MNC (preferably Pharma)
- Preferred experience as a Financial Controller, FP&A lead, Tax & internal controls
- Experience in business modeling, business development deals, strategy plans, forecasting
- Proactive and open to change
- Strategic thinking, Collaborative and team player
- Goal-orientated and committed to work
- Organized with good analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
- Strong people management skills
- Ability to mentor and guide subordinates
Key Responsibilities:
The activities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead the Finance function for GCC and responsible for end-to-end finance
- Ensure timely completion of all audits
- Timely deposit of all statutory taxes and contributions and returns
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
- Managing relations with the bankers
- Work with vertical heads to build the annual forecasts
- Monthly reports and variance analysis
- Utilizing BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance
- Provide analysis and commentary on cost center results
- Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiative
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
- Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction and streamlining operations
- Coordination with the support centres, regional treasury, tax, holding company, Legal and Compliance, facilities etc
- Coordination with the It finance and other finance verticals
- Responsible for internal controls and compliance, corporate audit
- Working closely with centre lead, ops head for smooth working of the GCC
