Job Title


Associate Director, EngineeringBusiness Environment

Expense is one of the growth areas and critical for the execution of the strategy of the Amadeus Cytric Solutions business. They will be accountable for leading the strategy of the Expense product development and the areas of Data, Mobile, and Innovation. They will ensure high-quality deliverables and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including achieving all KPIs associated with the business success. They will need to coordinate technology with the rest of Cytric Engineering teams and delivery priorities with product management teams. Also, alignment with the rest of Amadeus related strategy, mainly creating platform blueprints and cloud platform. Responsible for delivering the end-to-end data and capabilities for AI and GenAI use cases across Cytric travel and expense solutions, as well as ensuring Mobile responds to requirements of both travel and expense needs.


Main Responsibilities

Strategy:


  • Together with business colleagues (solution, product management, strategy), build a vision & strategy for the product line in terms of functionality, user experience, quality, and a roadmap to support Amadeus Cytric Expense's positioning and relevance in the market.


  • Guide the architecture of the platforms; organize their evolutions to support the product strategy to ensure that the global design of the platform is cost-efficient, robust & stable, future-proof (enabling innovation).


  • Guide the creation of the technology plan for the Expense platform (technology evolutions, convergence of components, security and data protection initiatives, hosting). Align technology strategy and plans to overall Cytric strategies as well as overall Amadeus Strategies. Advocate for convergence, harmonization, and simplification of tech stacks, reducing technical debt and implementing Creation Platform blueprints. Move to cloud into Amadeus frameworks expense stack.


Software Development:


  • Coordinate development activities for Expense and Mobile products.


  • Coordinate evolutions of platforms (with solution, product management), driven by functional enhancements, implementations, or technological evolutions.


  • Ensure that the system is built in a manner that makes it stable, scalable, robust, and resilient to unexpected usage.


Functional Contribution, Data Science, and Innovation:


  • Contribute significantly to the product roadmap in the area of mobile applications and services together with Product Management; R&D contribution is key in these topics where technology and business implications are very much intertwined.


  • Maintain leadership and mastery in more advanced topics, such as machine learning, blockchain and AR, AI and GenAI.


  • Contribute and deliver prototypes, innovative features, and concepts to drive or pilot with customers.


Data:
Being responsible for leading the data strategy to configure and deliver data products for clients of varying sizes and complexity. Covering end-to-end Travel and Expense solutions. Provide the data for AI, GenAI as well as end-to-end spent management developments transversally to Travel and expense solution. Determine Enterprise, Application & Infra. Architecture Roadmaps.
