Job Purpose:


We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director – D&T Skills & Programs to join our team supporting the Global Digital & Tech (D&T) organization.


As the Associate Director - D&T Skills, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and delivery of the strategic programs for D&T including skills program across various job families and roles. This role involves defining learning pathways and content for the skills framework, leading the program for D&T skills transition, managing external content, vendor relationships, and licensing strategies, and overseeing content delivery for the D&T skills program while interacting and building relationships with colleagues across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:


  • Program Management: Lead and manage strategic programs for D&T, not limited to D&T Skills strategy.
  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Develop and own the strategic roadmap for the framework specific to D&T skills, ensuring alignment with job families and roles. This includes setting long-term goals and defining the direction for skills development.
  • Strategy for Learning Pathways and Content Curation: Define strategy for defining comprehensive learning pathways and curation of relevant content to support the skills framework. Ensure these pathways are aligned with the latest industry standards and organizational needs.
  • Skills Program Leadership: Lead and manage the D&T skills strategy along with other strategic programs, ensuring a seamless integration of new skills and competencies while refreshing and managing the existing content. Drive the program forward with a focus on strategic impact and results
  • Vendor and Content Management: Oversee the management and delivery of external content, including managing vendor relationships and licensing agreements. Ensure that partnerships are strategically aligned, and content delivery meets quality standards.
  • Content Delivery: Ensure effective delivery of content for the D&T skills requirements, including the successful deployment of Learning Experience Platforms (LxP) across all capabilities in D&T. Collaborate with various leaders and colleagues across D&T to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align L&D initiatives with organizational goals and strategies. Foster strong relationships across departments to support the successful implementation of the D&T skills program.
  • Governance and Quality Assurance: Maintain strong governance around content creation, management, and review to ensure consistency and quality across all L&D initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in L&D and technology skills to inform and enhance program offerings.

Basic Qualification


  • 16+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on Digital & Tech skills.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Self-starter and natural drive to implement and see follow through on commitments.
  • Data driven, using information to inform decisions and solve problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing L&D programs, preferably within the Technology domain.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Be an influencer, experienced in defining and delivering focused and impactful plans in a large, complex, matrix organization which is culturally and geographically diverse with multiple stakeholders in HR and the business.
  • Be experienced working with a matrix team based in diverse locations and delivering through external partners as required.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and organizational skills, with the ability to deal with complexity in a fast-paced working environment.

Preferred Experience / qualifications and skills:


  • Master’s degree or MBA in a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in program management.
  • 16+ years of experience in driving Learning & Development programs with a focus on Digital & Tech skills.
  • Experience in defining and implementing skills frameworks and learning pathways.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale programs and manage vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of digital learning platforms and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
  • Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-cultural teams.
