How will you make an impact in this role?


You will work with the Manager - Digital Product Management, Platform Shared Services (PSS). The role will focus on managing and enabling Acquisitions Platform Strategy (APS) and Business Rules capabilities for multiple acquisition journeys.   This will be a hybrid Technology and Product role, gradually transitioning fully to a more traditional product management functions within 6-12 months.   In this role, you will be a subject matter expert on business rules and acquisition orchestration capabilities delivery.   As you fully transition into Products, you will drive strategic discussions related to build and solutioning, partnering with various lines of businesses.  You will be responsible in ensuring global, reusable solutions are built and delivered in scalable manner.  Responsibilities include: 


  • Business Rules Management: 
  • Code and deliver Business Rules capabilities supporting a variety of compliance functions 
  • Execute the Agile product development process (Lean, SAFe, Kanban) including grooming features and user stories, documenting customer and technical flows, and validating software function 
  • Product Management: 
  • Execute the platform capabilities strategies to ensure greater reusability, maintainability, scalability to meet global product demand 
  • Work with technology partners to create self-service tools to decrease time to market 
  • Work with technical team members to implement solutions for recurring inefficiencies 
  • Create KPI's to measure time to market and product team efficiency to understand impact of platform capabilities 
  • Support theManager - Digital Product Management, Platform Shared Servicesto prioritize the feature backlog to ensure that work focuses on the most impactful platform improvements 
  • Continually stay abreast of new digital platform trends and customer needs and the changing regulatory, competitive, and technological landscape
  • Execute the Agile product development process (Lean, SAFe, Kanban) including writing and refining features and user stories, documenting customer and technical flows, and validating software functionality

Minimum Qualifications


  • Aptitude with Java coding
  • University Degree  

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience as a product owner or with the Agile product management preferred but not required
  • Proficient at investigating customer needs and problems 
  • Strong ability to analyze user experience metrics and other data to determine priorities, opportunities, and issues with product
  • Ability to define and improve processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate across stakeholders
  • Ability to build positive relationships, and influence decisions with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority among peers and with leaders
  • Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
