 Functional Description


Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization.  EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Manage product related updates and tasks to support product day-to-day operations, which will help you gain hands-on experience and get to know the product
  • Work very closely with agile engineering team to provide support and recommendation for improvements/enhancements, following the agile and customer-centric approach
  • Assist in the Agile product development process including managing product backlogs, updating features, writing user stories, defining support documents, and conducting user acceptance testing
  • Work as liaison between engineering team and other cross functional teams to ensure alignments on priorities, development requirements, and timelines
  • Be passionate about product development and analytics and ground ideas in data-driven solutions by partnering with our Analytics and Decision Science teams to incorporate/implement user insights and principles throughout the product feature delivery process
  • Create, measure, and report metrics related to product development, efficiency, and performance, communicating development progress with a broad team and identifying areas of improvement
  • Assess value and dependencies, develop use cases, and prioritize features and user stories to ensure that we focus on those are aligned with the product strategy, roadmap and add value

Qualification Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills, and a knack for data driven storytelling
  • Prior experience as a product analyst or product owner in digital field with Agile/SAFe experience is a plus
  • 3+ years professional experience is required
  • Passionate about data-you can create beautiful yet impactful dashboards with effective data visualization
  • You can make sense out of the chaos by diving deep into complex data sets and finding meaningful insights
  • APIs are your best friend and architecture scaling excites you
  • You have a knack for product design and care about frictionless UX journeys to create products that delight users
  • Experience with analytical and API testing tools like Postman, Splunk, Tableau, MS Power BI, MS Excel is preferred
  • Fluent with programming and querying languages (e.g. Hive, Python, SQL, HiveQL, etc) and willingness to learn new tools & programming languages
  • Knowledge of working with agile processes, principles, and teams and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Rally, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional testing; experience with Quality Assurance or User Acceptance Testing
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues in a complex environment, provide RCA and mitigation strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to take independent responsibility of projects/tasks and complete with high-quality
  • Independent thinker who’s organized, has great attention to details, and strong ownership on tasks/projects assigned to you
  • Willing to take risks, experiment, and share fresh perspectives
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s level is a plus
