Associate Development Operations Engineer

We are looking for a Devops Engineer-Production Operations to join our Life Sciences Devops team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Life Sciences products in devops environment. The team consists of 4 members and is reporting into the Senior Team Lead.  If you love to code with python/any scripting language we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for someone who has experience with Linux and ideally has worked in a cloud environment. It will be great if you have experience with Java as well.  We have a great skill set in AWS, terraforms, Scripting Languages, etc and we would love to speak with you if you have skills aligning to the same. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• At least 1-2 years of experience in AWS concepts (EC2, ECS, Terraforms, route 53, Autoscaling, etc)
• At least 1 year of experience in Strong UNIX / Linux skills command line interface
• An understanding of various network concepts, F5, TCP / IP protocols, DNS, HTTP protocol and proxy servers,internet/web acceleration technologies and AWS networking concept
• Education (Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience) 

It would be great if you also had . . .  

• AWS Solution Architect Certifications
• Experience in Monitoring tools and deployment CI/CD pipelines. 

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Provide Level-2 Support and take initiative in resolving issues escalated by multiple-teams under defined SLAs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with business stakeholders on various issues and projects.
• Support/Monitor/Deploy applications by collaborating with various teams spread across the globe.
• Innovate problem solving, data analysis and basic-testing of all the supporting applications. 
• Document solutions and maintain technical specifications

About the Team   

Life Sciences Devops team mainly focus on Devops operations on Production infrastructure related to Lifesciences products. We as a team support production infrastructure for almost 20+ customer facing web application products and 10+ content systems internal to Clarivate and which are source for customer facing products. Also, responsible for Change process on production environment. Incident Management and Monitoring. Team also handles customer raised /internal user service requests. 

Hours of Work  

• Always work during shift system 2pm IST to 11PM IST.
• 5day week and Saturday & Sunday Week off.
• Must provide On-call support during non-business hours per week based on team bandwidth
