Read more about the life in PayU here About the RoleThe role is with the PayU India Payments Data, Insights & Strategy team, with specific focus on building a stringent assurance framework and controls to reduce cost and revenue leakages at PayU. The candidate will work closely with the COO on a variety of strategic initiatives in the Cost & Revenue Assurancedomain.Responsibilities- Proactive and systematic monitoring, analysis and follow-up of/on (a) agreed rates with banks andmerchants, and (b) actualization of revenue and costs on each transaction- Develop strong knowledge of PayU’s product portfolio, payment transaction flow, bank/merchant commercial negotiation process to internalize how said framework translates to revenue/cost realization- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cost/revenue management systems and technology, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in pricing and cost management processes- Interface with Product, Finance, and Operations teams to set joint goals and track operations performance, providing an actionable feedback loop- Perform detailed analysis and interpret information to make recommendations to Senior Management on critical gaps and implementation of appropriate controls.Requirements to be successful in this role:- A degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or other similar quantitative field from a premier institute- Comfortable handling big data sets via SQL and/or SAS- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and demonstrated focus for client / customer satisfaction- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and execute complex analysis- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to function in a high volume setting with tight deadlines- High-energy individual with a go-getter instinct and positive attitude.- Should be a great teammate who promotes knowledge-sharing- Prior work experience in analytics, project execution is preferred
