We are seeking a talented Technologist for the role of an Associate Architect to join Platform Engineering teamin Thomson Reutersand play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust cloudand AI based solutionsfor our new Enterprise AI Services team. As an Associate Architect, you will be responsible forthe Designand Architectureof scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will work closely with Engineeringteams to translate business
requirements into technical solutions and ensure the efficient operation of our shared infrastructure services.
1.Design, architect and deploy enterprise grade distributed, cloud-native and AI systems in Public Clouds like AWS, Azure and GCP.
2.Research, evaluate and configureAI/MLmarketplace products/platformsto effectively address AI/MLbusiness use cases.
3.Get to work on containers, container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker), OpenSearch, Vector Stores, building data pipelines, messaging,scalable streaming services,RAG-based architectures, Generative AI Models, API Management Services like Google APIGEE & Azure APIM.
4.Facilitate collaboration and communication across business lines, technology partners, Vendors, and architects to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.
5.Work with Engineeringteam members to implement and deploy generative AI systems into production.
6.Develop and implement best practices for building, deploying, and managing generative AI systems.
7.Stay up to dateon the latest research and developments in generative AI and apply new knowledge to our work.
8.Collaborate with other engineers, Architects, and product managers to develop and deliver innovative solutions
9.Set up and configure Observability Dashboards to proactively detect and respond to system issues. Workwith teams to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) for critical applications and services.
10. Analyse and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system issues, Provide Actionable insights to improve system performance and reliability.
11.Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of commitments with clear communication to all stakeholders.
1.BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent.
2.6-10 years of relevant software development, design and systems engineering/architecture.
3.Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices
4.Solid understanding of Cloud provided AI/ML platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Sagemaker, Azure AI Studio and so on.
5.Proficiency in Python, C# Programming languages, Design and develop robust data engineering services and APIs to support AI initiatives.
