What you’ll do
The Senior Finance Services Advisor provides advice and carries out accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions and maintenance and monitoring of controls, within a shared services environment. The Senior Finance Services Advisor has a good understanding of standardised concepts and procedures within the finance service function and delivers transactional processing tasks and activities related to maintaining financial statements/records, processing payments and ensuring accuracy and the maintenance of financial databases where necessary.
Typically reports to the Senior Finance Services Team Leader.

Key accountabilities (Role Description)
- Vendor invoice posting/booking to be done per agreed timelines
- Good Communications / Problem solving skills - Interaction with vendors and local markets
- Manage dependencies and understand upstream/downstream processes in order to ensure timely invoice processing
- Be an active team member in operating Procure to Pay process, working closely with other team members
- Provide dedicated support to Local Market functions
- Provide response to the queries raised by key stakeholders
- Work with teams across functions to deliver improvements across Group Common Functions.
- Support Local Market and internal functions with timely payment postings and reduction in cycle of payment processes before month end
- Strive to achieve and exceed objectives set for the year.
Essentials Essential:
- Commerce graduate with 4-6 years of experience in Accounts Payable processes and a strong understanding of accounting
- Strong communication skills – able to influence at a variety of levels and across functions
- Well versed with Invoice posting
- SAP work experience
