Assistant Manager - Transport What this job involves: As an Assistant Manager in our Transport division, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage transportation operations, optimize logistics, and contribute to our culture of collaboration. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transport services. At JLL, we believe in empowering our employees to thrive, and this role offers ample opportunities to strengthen and advance your career in the exciting field of transportation management. What your day-to-day will look like: • Coordinate and oversee daily transportation operations • Analyze and optimize transport routes and schedules • Manage relationships with carriers and vendors • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards • Implement and maintain transportation management systems • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall logistics efficiency • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field • 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics management • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proficiency in transportation management software • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management • Professional certification (e.g., CTL, CSCP) • Experience with international shipping and customs procedures • Familiarity with sustainability practices in transportation • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives • Multilingual capabilities • Experience in a commercial real estate or facilities management setting At JLL, we embrace innovative ways of working and support each other's wellbeing.
