In today’s dynamic analytical / technological environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Analytics team at Colgate. Our highly insight driven and innovative team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive in this ever-changing landscape.
What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
The incumbent will have to direct a team of analysts to support Insights & Consumer Affairs across the globe by providing social media data and insights. The person is required to be responsible for the identification, tracking, monitoring and reporting potential risks in social media for Colgate and its brands with the concerned teams or individuals in the company. They will be handling and releasing regular and specific reports on pre-determined topics or discovered issues during the daily monitoring while optimizing the monitoring tools to meet the program’s needs. The role requires the person to be aware of social media platforms and should be keen to research on topics that are of interest to the company’s growth and risk management. The candidate will work on social listening projects where they should be able to read /listen and sort posts from a large pool of data to provide useful insights. Data visualization skills are good to have.
You lead a hardworking team and functional expert
Responsible for evaluating and validating the results from the social monitoring tool configured for designated key terms and countries/languages; and provide assessment of risk based on the context.
Raise website and social media postings that potentially put company’s brands at risk per agreed to guidelines for prioritization and critical issues that has potential risk.
Deliver standard reporting capabilities and investigate analysis of risk monitoring results.
Validate, document and communicate risk items for issue based on internal guidelines and criteria, develop and deliver standard reports – daily, weekly and monthly
Conduct first level analysis per requests from Consumer Affairs and Executive Risk Management Committee
Follow-up with internal partners regarding their concerns and send them required reports

Identify and implement process improvement recommendations in collaboration with Global Consumer Affairs group
Find insights while reading or observing through dedicated projects to help consumer affairs, marketing, research and development teams, legal and brand protection teams be aware of consumer sentiments and conversations.
You are a collaborator -
You will collaborate with other internal partners, such as Digital Marketing, Corporate Communications, Legal, Global/Division/ Subsidiary Management as needed.
You are an innovator -
You will constantly look for opportunities to keep a track of new topics that could cause potential risk to the company.
You should be creative and eloquent with your thoughts and communicate your points clearly and effectively
What you’ll need
Bachelor’s / Master's degree preferably in Mass Media graduate / post graduate
Experience in any area of social media management Passion for social media industry
Information Systems or another quantitative field a plus
At least 8+ years of professional experience leading a team
Visualizing and presenting data for partners using powerful presentation techniques.
High level of comfort with large sets of data and attend to details and passion for accuracy
Ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines
Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-tasking
Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
Good listening, relationship building and collaboration skills
Effective and Excellent written and verbal communication
What you’ll need

We need working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry
Understanding of Colgate’s processes, and tools supporting analytics (for internal candidates)
Willingness and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques
Good facilitation and project management skills
Ability to maintain personal composure and tactfully handle difficult situations.
Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite/Sheets/Slides
Ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and meet deadlines
