Job Title: Assistant Manager – Sample Allocation Analytics

Are you ready to lead the way in shaping the external environment? We are seeking a meticulous and insightful individual to lead our Data Analysis and Business Intelligence team with a focus on pharmaceutical sample distribution analytics. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to contribute significantly to our organization and drive meaningful impact at AstraZeneca.


Accountabilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will lead the team in gathering, extracting, analyzing, and interpreting field data related to sample distribution from different sources to develop business insights. You will supervise the creation of various reports and visualizations to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators related to sample distribution and its impact on sales and marketing strategies. You will also provide leadership in offering recommendations based on data analysis to optimize sales and marketing strategies specifically related to sample distribution and its impact on field teams.


Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, or relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Analysis and Business Intelligence, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
- Practical/hands-on experience with Advanced Analytics using exploratory data analysis techniques with a focus on pharmaceutical sample distribution analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines related to field reporting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in syndicated and custom, primary and secondary data, with inferential analysis and the ability to identify insights from data.



- Knowledge of AZ brand and science is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a significant number of business stakeholders and cross-functional business partners.
- Strategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with Commercial Leadership Team
