Job Summary:


We’ are looking for an Outside Sales Manager with a broad experience within process industry and selling condition Monitoring - Online VMS projects to cover the following categories: Online MMS and/or Online CMS package. You will sell, promote, and demonstrate the Emerson RS portfolio piece of Online VMS & CMS.  Reporting to the RS Sales Leader, you will look after all business development, marketing & sales activities of designated install base customers from Delta-V/Ovation across India, EPCs, Project Management consultants to achieve the forecasted / budgeted sales, bookings, strategic targets for the designated product lines and solutions.


In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


  • Hold detailed knowledge of Online VMS; it’s application with intended benefits and having prior knowledge of Sales & Solution selling to Develop & implementing sales strategies for customers.
  • Earlier experience in dealing with online VMS packages at end users, EPCs, PMCs
  • Owning of Individual booking /Regions POR/ Target.
  • Target EPC; OEM; End-users to position and participation of Online VMS solution. Work closely with Region's Leadership.
  • Be the subject matter expert for products, applications, and pricing programs for your given market.
  • Drive strategic new product sales and solutions to expand markets and share.
  • Develop, present, and implement annual business plans to deliver incremental sales growth.
  • Lead generation, build funnel and convert into orders for Online VMS; as possible clubbing with other solutions of Wireless; Mtell etc.
  • Preparing optimum techno commercial quote in consultation with proposals team within defined period.
  • Technical presentations and Demos at customer locations.
  • Work ethically in compliance with Emerson standards.
  • Should be able to work independently.
  • Work as an individual contributor and as a team member and gel with the existing team

Must have good experience to work with end users to build lead on various avenues and growth-oriented strategies' year on year. 


For This Role, You Will Need:


  • Excellent knowledge about API 670 guidelines and it’s compliances/deviation implications.
  • Proficient in PC skills and application software like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
  • Understanding of project life cycle from concept to commissioning. 
  • Understanding of customer need and translating it into technical solution. 
  • Analytical thinker with excellent Communication, presentation, interpersonal and prioritization skills; well-organized and detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • A minimum 10-15 years of relevant work experience in technical sales and solution sales working with EPC; End Users; OEMs; PMCs with strong experience of working & customer engagements pan India.
