Client Finance - JLL Business Service (Gurugram)


What this job involves:


Providing a roadmap for success


Working with a team, you’ll set the vision for every GL project and enforce a process that helps everyone get to the finish line. This entails exploring stakeholders’ needs through conducting meetings with relevant parties (clients, & stakeholders), as well as doing the necessary follow-through research and analysis. Afterward, you’ll get down to the task’s nitty gritty. And then you’ll proceed to creating the execution plan that ensures delivery of outputs to the stakeholders’ expectations and meets pre-defined objectives.


While formulating strategies that will lead to the task’s success, you’ll also closely manage the team and keep track of all the deliverables. You’ll need to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders, leading from the front while also taking the time to understand their point of view.


Of course, you’ll also keep in mind the company ethics, stakeholder’s vision and JBS’s standards— thereby, strive to achieve the best-in-class Ops delivery model.

On an agreed basis, you’ll manage/perform the operation tasks and connect with stakeholders regularly to review the performance and discuss the challenges faced. It is expected that you will remain solution centric, and value add the deliverables further. You will lead by example wherein challenge the status quo, identify opportunity areas, and address them stricter compliance/automation. Creating project monthly and weekly status reports as well as task risk register and. In the case of exceptions and remediations, you’ll need to report them, as necessary. As needed, you­­­­—together with the stakeholders and other resources —will also prepare proposals, case studies, presentations and lessons learned.  Some key expectations from the role.


  • Prepare and upload monthly journals as requested by Client Finance Teams


  • Run month end reports and perform E1-PS interface upload.


  • Prepare general ledger reconciliations.


  • Support in E1 company setups


  • E1 COA maintenance on behalf of client teams


  • Perform corporate transfers on behalf of client teams.


  • Run unposted transactions report pre month end close. Work with Client Finance Analysts to clear.


  • Close AP, AR and GL ledgers as requested by client teams.


  • Review GL results and inform Client Finance Analyst of any issues.


  • Support Financial reporting and reconciliation process.


  • Build strong relationships and support facilities managers by dealing with any queries/information requests.


  • Identify and work collaboratively to implement improvements in team processes.


  • Prepare reports GRNV, Open PO, and PO Volumes – issue to facility managers and follow up regularly.


  • Support the Finance Analyst and Client Finance Manager in the preparation of financial reporting for the client and JLL.


  • Prepare, review and upload Budgets, performance variance analysis and provide/liaise for commentaries.


  • Prepare/review and submit defined reporting, generate ad-hoc reports per requests and review rectification journals.

To apply you need to be:


Well-versed in leading F&A operations


You have


  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, preferably a MBA in Finance


  • 8-10 years of experience in RTR and FP&A role, preferably in a similar position (working with international teams and clients is preferable)


  1. Thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines and high expectations.


  • Ability to work independently and lead a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.


  • Strong accounting and analytical skills


  • Motivated, positive, and flexible in approach to work


  • Proactive in identifying issues and potential solutions.


  • Self – supporting; diligent.


  • Good/Strong communication skills, ability to work methodically, efficiently & deliver under tight deadlines.


  • Process-driven approach to work, ability to learn quickly and desire to develop.


  • Customer Service: Commitment to solve requests and problems.


  • Advanced PC skills, proficient in Office tools, such as Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel


  • Familiarity with JDE E1 financial (will be an advantage)
