The Jobholder is responsible for leading the overall Customer Support and Logistics team, with experience in handling Indian Commercial Vehicle (CV) Customers and Export Customers. This role requires managing a team, coordinating with the internal production team, and possessing sound SAP knowledge. Excellent leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to motivate a team to deliver exceptional service are essential.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Exposure to handling major CV OEMs (AL, TML, TCL, VECV) and Export customers (GM, FORD).
2. Sound Knowledge of Sales/order processing and logistics Functions (Cost Optimization and Warehouse management)
3. Proficiency in SAP modules (SD / PP / MM) and knowledge of MRP (Material requirement planning) is a must.
4. Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 standards and managing audits.
5. Improvement of FG material flow (VSM and inventory optimization).
6. Knowledge of packaging, including returnable packaging is applicable.
7. Management of Logistics suppliers, including Domestic transporter
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience in the Automobile (Tier 1 industry)
2. Knowledge of international trade and export regulations.
3. Fluency in English, Hindi and Tamil
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree / Engineering / Postgraduate:
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer support, with a focus on OEM and export customers.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
