Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes: Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product.
Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products.
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.
Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods A Team Leader (M1) supervises para-professional employees. Responsibilities typically include: Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Roles & responsibilities -
Receive PPAP documentation according to customer requirements and submit into their portals.
Provide support for new projects launch.
Perform “Walk the Customer line” activity.
Ensure that applicable regional and global customer’s requirements are well understood/applied on project phases.
Ensure that lessons learned are properly applied, & Quality Customer Specific Requirements application.
Manage warranty data management and technical factor negotiations.
Escalate the issues rising a significant quality risk.
Assure an effective negotiation with the customer on specification gaps.
Check if Quality Gate assessment report was performed correctly aligned with Customer Specific Requirements.
Perform 8D quality content evaluation for regional customer and ensure 8D is answered and closed on time & Upload 8D reports to internal and customer database / portal.
Minimize Warranty Quality Costs to minimize their impact on company profitability.
Validate containment, corrective actions on the production.
Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards.
Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Initiate interdisciplinary team for occurred claims.
Upload 8D reports to internal and customer database / portal.
Report complaints status and oversee the customer portal.
Monitor & provide customers performance reports.
Support CLO organization on Customer Satisfaction.
Minimize Warranty Quality Costs to minimize their impact on company profitability.
Ensure Quality Customer Specific Requirements application.
Validate containment, corrective actions on the production.
Manage warranty data management and technical factor negotiations.
Control current and prevent future Regional Customers’ claims.
Follow up of critical issues status – support for the plants.
Follow up PRC (Parts Return Center) activities.
Ensure Lessons Learned sharing within regional organization.
Perform 8D quality content evaluation for regional customer and ensure 8D is answered and closed on time.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Required IATF - Internal Auditor certification.
Knowledge of ISO / IATF, VDA and Customer Requirements, Technical drawing interpretation.
Good knowledge of problem solving & quality tools & Analytical & Problem-Solving Skill.
