Assistant Facility Manager - Technical What this job involves: As an Assistant Facility Manager - Technical at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. You'll be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of facility management, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, both locally and across the globe, embracing innovative ways of working and contributing to the overall success of our clients' facilities. What your day-to-day will look like: Assist in managing and coordinating technical operations of assigned facilities Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues promptly Monitor and analyze energy consumption, proposing solutions for improved efficiency Participate in project planning and execution for facility upgrades and renovations Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including reports and technical specifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility management or related technical role Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing Familiarity with facility management software and computerized maintenance management systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites as needed Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in Facility Management (e.g., FMP, CFM) Experience with sustainable facility management practices Knowledge of building automation systems Proficiency in CAD software Understanding of local building codes and regulations Experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts At JLL, we support each other's wellbeing and champion inclusivity and belonging across teams.
