Job Title: Assistant Facility Manager What this job involves: As an Assistant Facility Manager at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in shaping a brighter way for our clients and fellow employees. You'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, embracing innovative ways of working and collaborating with diverse teams. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our clients while advancing your own career in a supportive and inclusive workplace. What your day-to-day will look like: • Assist in managing facility operations, including maintenance, security, and cleaning services • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs • Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing • Conduct regular facility inspections and report on conditions and potential improvements • Respond to and resolve tenant requests and complaints in a timely manner • Support the development and implementation of facility policies and procedures • Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking for assigned facilities Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field • 2+ years of experience in facility management or related role • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Willingness to embrace a culture of collaboration and support team members Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with sustainability initiatives and green building practices • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations • Familiarity with project management methodologies • Experience in customer service-oriented roles • Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve processes At JLL, we believe that the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
